Cheryl's most recent novel is the brand new western historical romance, "GABRIEL'S LAW", available in print and digital format at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Her paranormal western short story, "THE KEEPERS OF CAMELOT" appears in the anthology "SIX GUNS AND SLAY BELLS: A CREEPY COWBOY CHRISTMAS". "THE KEEPERS OF CAMELOT" was nominated for the 2012 WF PEACEMAKER AWARD in the short story category. It also appears in PEACEMAKER TALES, an anthology of short stories that were nominated for or won the Peacemaker awards in the past, and in THE PEACEMAKERS Vol. 4, which features all the nominees and the winner of the short story Peacemaker award for 2012.

Her young adult western historical trilogy of novellas, "KANE'S REDEMPTION", "KANE'S PROMISE", and "KANE'S DESTINY" are available separately, as is the entire re-edited collection under one cover, "KANE'S CHANCE".

Cheryl also penned two of the chapters in "WOLF CREEK Book 1: BLOODY TRAIL", the first in a series of novels written collaboratively by members of the WESTERN FICTIONEERS under the pen name, FORD FARGO. "WOLF CREEK Book 5: SHOWDOWN AT DEMON'S DROP", features Cheryl's character, Derrick McCain, and his sister, Kathleen.  In July 2013, the first anthology of Wolf Creek stories was released, entitled: "WOLF CREEK Book 6: HELL ON THE PRAIRIE". Her short story, IT TAKES A MAN, is included.

Writing is so much a part of her life that recently, she and long-time friend Livia Reasoner, decided to open a publishing house. PRAIRIE ROSE PUBLICATIONS furthers the western-themed writing offerings of women. As if that weren’t enough, there were so many requests for a publishing house for young people interested in the west that they decided to open the unique imprint, PAINTED PONY BOOKS. This line will be open to all authors who have submissions for Middle Grade readers, Young Adult, and New Adult.  Click here to read more about PAINTED PONY BOOKS.

Cheryl lives with her husband in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she has been for the past 29 years. She has two grown children, ages 24 and 27.
